You have just signed a lease managed by Foncia and you receive an email inviting you to activate your online space. The website address looks like a suspicious domain name, the identifier is not your usual email, and the procedure requires two successive validations. Accessing MyFoncia to retrieve your rental documents is not straightforward on the first attempt.

Official MyFoncia Address and Domain Name Trap

A tenant’s first instinct is to search for “myfoncia.com” or “myfoncia.fr” in their browser. These addresses lead nowhere. The official URL is my-foncia.fonciamillenium.net, a domain name inherited from Foncia’s technical infrastructure that confuses most users.

This atypical name poses a real trust issue. Several tenants report believing they were victims of a phishing attempt upon receiving a link to “fonciamillenium.net”. If you type the address directly into your browser instead of clicking on a link received by email, you reduce this risk. Also, make sure the page displays the Foncia logo and a valid HTTPS certificate.

To find all the procedures related to my MyFoncia client space for my documents, the starting point is always this official address, not a search engine that sometimes leads to third-party sites.

MyFoncia First Connection Identifier: Where to Find It

You may have already noticed that Foncia does not use your email as the initial identifier? This is a technical choice that surprises, but it is explained by the two-step validation system.

The first connection identifier is a specific code provided by your agency. It does not appear in your lease. Depending on your profile, you will find it in different places:

  • For a tenant, it appears in the welcome email sent by the Foncia agency at the start of the lease.
  • For a co-owner, it is printed on the quarterly fund request, often at the top of the document.
  • For a landlord, it is included in the property management report sent by the manager.

If you cannot find this identifier, contact your agency directly. No online procedure allows you to regenerate it on your own.

The Double Email Validation That Blocks Many Tenants

Once the identifier is entered on the login page, a first confirmation email arrives at the address registered in your client file. You click on the link, set your email as the permanent identifier, and then create a password.

A second email is then sent to definitively validate the account creation. Many tenants abandon after the first email, thinking their account is already active. It is not until the second validation is completed. Also, remember to check your spam for both messages.

Rental Documents Available on MyFoncia: What You Will Really Find There

Once logged in, the “My Documents” section groups the items related to your rental. Rent receipts, due notices, and charge adjustments are available for PDF download.

The document history covers several years, which is particularly useful if you need to reconstruct proofs for a housing file or an administrative request. You do not need to contact your agency to obtain an old receipt, provided the document was generated in the client space.

Push Notifications: No More Manual Checking

The MyFoncia mobile app sends push notifications for every account update: new document available, message from the manager, fund request. Activating these notifications prevents you from having to log in regularly to check if a receipt has been deposited.

For this system to work, your phone number and email address must be up to date in your profile. If you change your number without updating this information, the validation codes and alerts will no longer reach you.

Mobile App or Web Browser: Which to Use for Your Documents

Why is this choice relevant? Because the two versions of MyFoncia do not always provide access to the same content. User feedback indicates that some documents visible on a computer do not appear in the mobile app, particularly in the “My Documents” section.

If you are looking for a receipt or a charge adjustment and it seems to be missing from the app, log in via a web browser on a computer. This discrepancy between the two platforms is not officially documented, but it is frequent enough to warrant this systematic check.

Common Features Across Both Platforms

  • Consultation and download of rent receipts in PDF format.
  • Tracking requests made to the manager and their processing status.
  • Access to the dashboard with a summary of payments and charges.
  • Updating personal details (email, phone, bank details).

The client space is accessible at all times, without time restrictions. For routine operations (consulting a receipt, sending a message), the mobile app remains the fastest platform. For bulk downloads or searching for an old document, prefer the web version on a computer.

One last point to keep in mind: regularly updating your details in MyFoncia is essential for the proper functioning of two-factor authentication and notifications. An unreported change of email address can block your access when you need it most, for example, during an urgent request for proof of residence.
